Hello Everyone, my lovely Underdogs!
Thank you so much for coming to my page, “And the Underdog Wins.” If you have followed me from my previous hosts, thank you so much for coming along on this new journey! I know there has been many ups, and downs the past 5 years, but it’s a learning curve that I am very excited to be on!
For those who are new, and wonder why I have named this page about an Underdog, let me explain. I have spent my life being the underdog. I work very hard, with some less than steller results. It can be very frustrating, especially when you do your best, but still can’t get ahead. I have tried to take this and make it positive. I know that you need to work hard, and do your best to get where you want to be in life, and sometimes you need to learn the lesson of being an underdog. But when the underdog wins, it really is a wonderful day!
This blog started off as conspiracy theories, which is a shared love that I had with my late Dad and Grandpa. As the years rolled by, the blog evolved into what it is today. I have added theme days, along with the tried and true conspiracy theories for a broader audience, and for more fun! This is a lifestyle blog with reviews, ideas, local flair, pop culture, and more! I really hope that you enjoy this blog and make it part of your day!
For those who are wondering about me, I am a dog mom who lives in Indiana. I am a caregiver to family members for different aliments including cancer. In my “spare time,” I volunteer with several different organizations that involve youth and children’s hospitals. I went to college for creative writing, but have only been able to get some freelance work here and there. I worked mostly in retail, sales, customer service, and banking. I was involved in a very bad car accident a few years back that caused permanent disability in my arm, shoulder, and back. I also battle depression and anxiety. Writing and blogging helps me out so much with being able to do something that I truly love! I have written 4 eBooks, and have been published in different newspapers, magazines, and online outlets. I love doing this blog, and I hope you will love it to! I look forward to continuing to grow and learn so I can become a better blogger! Thank you for being part of this journey!
